Bio for Pastor Noland L. Henson
Elder Noland L. Henson serves as Senior Pastor of The New Life
Church located in Arnold, Maryland. New Life Church is a young,
vibrant ministry with a passion for outreach to the lost and down
trodden and a focus on foreign missions. It is Pastor Henson’s
desire to see every member walking in the fulfillment of God’s
purpose for their lives while teaching the next generation to live
righteous and sober in this present world. His wife, Terry,
currently serves as Pastoral Assistant to her husband.
Pastor Noland has pioneered and participated in several ventures.
They include:

Full Life Inc. – A non profit community service organization
which focuses on community outreach and ministry to youth.

Annapolis Area Pastors Prayer Fellowship – A local gathering
of Pastors who meeting each Thursday morning for prayer and
fellowship.

Anne Arundel County Foreign Missions – Provides financial
support to missions in Kenya, Mozambique and Israel. His passion
for missions was ignited after a visit to Israel in January 2000.
Pastor Henson has also organized food and clothing distributions
in various public housing communities in the County. The outreach
ministry of New Life Church and Pastor Henson has touched every
public housing community in Anne Arundel county. Each year Pastor
Henson leads a coalition who aggressively and strategically targets
the needy population in our county and ministers the Gospel to them
through street preaching, music, drama and dance. Over the past 11
years Pastor Henson’s leadership and effort is responsible for the
distribution of hundreds of bibles, thousands of pieces of Christian
literature and gospel tracks, administering prayer to hundreds of
country residents and assisting many with finding substance abuse
rehabilitation facilities. In addition, Pastor Henson currently
overseas New Life Worship Center in Nairobi, Kenya under
the leadership of Pastor Wycliffe Otieno.
Pastor Henson has also authored 2 books, How Much Do You a New
Life, and By The Blood and The Word, and has authored a 5 booklet
bible study series for new believers. Pastor Henson is a passionate
and aggressive teacher of the gospel, most recently teaching at the
Rock City Church School of Ministry. Pastor Henson currently serves
under the oversight of Bishop Bart Pierce, Pastor of Rock City
Church in Baltimore, Md. His international travels include a guided
tour to Israel in January 2000, and a trip to Africa in 2004. Pastor
Henson is currently assembling a 20 member coalition of fellow
pastors, teachers and church leaders to travel to Kenya, Africa in
February 2005 for participation in a conference for pastors,
pastor’s wives and women in ministry. In addition to the conference
a 3 day revival is also planned.
Pastor Henson is a member of the United Black Clergy of Anne
Arundel County and a participant in the Peace for the City Pastors
Coalition for Baltimore, Md. Pastor Henson and the New Life Church
can be seen on Comcast Cable channel 67 & 99 every Sunday at 4:00
p.m., and Millennium Cable channel 67 every Tuesday and Thursday at
5:30 p.m. & 8:30 a.m.
Pastor Henson and his wife of 22 years are the parents of 3 adult
daughters and grandparent of 3 boys.
